After countless miles on the truck and weekends being on the road chasing points Shaw’s Rockhaven Rio has achieved her FCGD (Field Champion Gun Dog) title from the AKC (American Kennel Club). A big shout out to all the judges for busting their butts doing a thankless job weekend after weekend. Ken Lewis for being crazy enough to jump in the truck for another 1400 mile weekend road trip and Dennis Kenville and Cletus Shaw for hooking me up with her. Most importantly to Melissa Behne for putting up with me being gone and pushing me to go the next weekend when I was tired of the back to back weekends of 8+ hour drives. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the championship in two weeks. Nice work Erie Canal beagle club for putting on a good trial with lots of game and places to run!
